Congratulations to Aspetar friends and former colleagues on delivering two amazing days for the “Advanced Thigh Muscle Injuries Workshop” on November 18-19, 2024. This workshop is part of the ASPETAR International Rehabilitation Conference on “The Complete Guide to Thigh Muscle Injuries.”
What makes Aspetar special is the immediate applicability of knowledges, clinical reasoning and tools presented. Everything that is shown and are discussed is linked to the daily clinical practice, and how to improve the outcomes of each individual athlete in front of you. Unlike many laboratory studies with strict inclusion and exclusion criteria, all the content is delivered with the individual nuances seen in every patient, day to day. You do not find a better place where years of clinical experience and latest research are delivered with the end-goal in mind of every patient. The take-away from this conference and workshops are that 1) “You only see what you look for, and you only look for what you know”. Therefore testing is one of the key elements in knowing if your rehab is effective. 2) Are we doing what we said we were going to do. Are we choosing the right exercise, in the right way, with the right intensity to change those variables we are testing for.
I have been fortunate to have daily exposure and contribute to the exceptional work of the team at Aspetar over the years, therefore, I can highly encourage everyone to attend future conferences and workshops at Aspetar.
