The last week has been an incredible week.
I have attended The World Leading Aspetar International Conference on ACL rehabilitation “The Complete guide to the Athletic ACL” with an outstanding line up of speakers.
I am proud to have been part of the post conference advanced ACL workshop together with an amazing group of colleagues from Aspetar. Here, I delivered a workshop on practical incorporation for blood flow restriction in ACL rehabilitation journey.
The session was a joint session with my colleague Olivia Barbosa who presented the Aspetar Way on the use of EMG and NMES.
The experience shared is a product of many years working with my highly passionated friends and physiotherapists from @aspetar. I am humble and happy to share and learn from so many great minds on a daily basis.
If you are interested to learn more about the practical insights to the Aspetar way of using EMG, NMES and BFR early after ACLR then you can find an article in this month Aspetar Journal that I wrote with my two colleagues and friends Vasilis Sideris and Nuno Nascimento.
Please download the Aspetar journal here: https://www.aspetar.com/journal/
If still interested in the evidence of EMG, NMES and BFR after ACLR then you can find it in the Aspetar clinical practice guideline on rehabilitation after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction that we published earlier this year. Please check here:
