Fantastic to get the opportunity to share knowledge and experience about ACL rehabilitation!
Yesterday, I hosted an ACL workshop at @fitogsundskanderborg in collaboration with @idraetsfyssen.
The workshop is based on my experience from Aspetar, where our ACL team as well as on the research projects I’ve been involved in.

The workshop outlines what a patient journey could look like – from pre-op rehabilitation all the way through to return to sport.
Each step dives into multiple elements. See last slide:
- During introduction we’re setting scene and are getting into questionnaires and psychological readiness.
– Under the Aspetar Clinical Guideline, we looked more closely at EMG, NMES, and BFR.
– We discussed AMI under Clinical/ROM.
– Motor Control covers assessment and intervention related to movement quality in the foot, ankle, knee, and hip.
– VBT falls under Strength.
– We worked with CMJ under Explosiveness, and Drop Jump under Reactive Strength.
Throughout the workshop, I focused on making everything practically applicable.
A huge thank you and much gratitude to all the colleagues who gave up their Saturday to nerd out about ACL rehab and testing!
Feel free to send a DM for more information about the workshop – anything from a one-hour presentation to a full weekend is possible!
